christmas christmas time is here...

this year's christmas eve was a movie day for my family. since there're 6 of us and not all of us favor the same movie, we splitted into two groups. dad, lil sis (kim.), 2nd lil bro (jeffrey) watched the "alvin and the chimpmunks 2" while mom, me and 1st lil bro (andrew) watched "avatar". it was awesome! hehe! later in the evening, we attended the church's special service which ended with an awesome supper. we all ate till our tummies were bloated! haha!

more family time during the christmas day itself too. went shopping and eating at the one-utama AND i finally got the iPod nano! =) there was a promotion on it which allowed me to purchase the 5th generation for only 399! although i don't get to chose the color, cuz it was a special promotion, i'm still HAPPIEEE~ hehe mine's a greeny. i was disappointed at first but i started liking the color the more i look at it. lol and when i look at it, i'll always remember my 18th christmas with my family. (the color itself reminds me of christmas ^^ )

went to Eric Leong's "i want to be an interior designer" workshop today in the One Academy. it was really good. got to create a mood board too.

the genius...

went to the leonardo da vinci exhibition~

it was held in the national science centre, bukit kiara...

that's tha booth were they sold the goodies...

bought this mona lisa puzzle & a summary book of his life & works

this is a mini-sized copy of a bridge he invented that can be built without any use of nail or glue, and this was the only picture i was allowed to take in the exhibition :(

this is my very own mini-mini copy of the same bridge made with toothpicks! :) was bored, so i stole some toothpicks from my mom, started measuring and cutting with the blade, but sadly i had to use some gluetacks to hold it together cuz the toothpicks were simply too light to hold and it would crumple easily :(

his works are amazing, not only his paintings! got to observe the mona lisa painting up close too, which was one of the main reasons i went

a midsummer night's dream 09...

learned a lesson. exams are over. prom was awesome. the long break is finally here. finally able to take a breath. wish to sleep all day. so much unorganized plans. so many things in mind to accomplish this holiday. movie, friends, late nights. stuck in old habits. wishing time and days would slow down. feels lost. what do i do next? will i do better? am i prepared? cleaned up my room. got a 2010 planner. need to be more organized. breath in, breath out. happy holidays.

Good news is that i'll be able to attend both the SIS & CIMP Prom! ^^ and my worries about what to wear has been resolved. Can't wait for tha Nights; however, i'm NOT looking foward to the finals. It's sad to even think about it. Time sure flies when you don't realize it.

mooncake festival...

The raya holiday was great!

Though it seemed short,

I had loads of fun and experience.

A couple of things I did include:

Working in the Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa as a waitress for two chinese weddings with a bunch of friends. It was on the 19th & 20th of September, a saturday and sunday. It was held in the Grand Ballroom. We were paid rm10 per hour and we worked for about 8 hours per day, so that makes our income a 160! hahaha! It is NOT as easy as it sounds! Though the pay IS good, it was a workout! However, it's a great experience. I even got to learn how to fold the napkins in a prettyfied way and also hold to pull them in a right way so it comes out nice for you to put on the guest's lap! hahaha! I'm easily facinated. Well, not too much details for that or it'll be a bore. NEXT! So after the working days, it was followed with a couple of sleepovers and movies!

Last week was hectic.

ISUs, more work and tests came flooding in.

Student Council is a handful too. We are planning for a Paintball event, Halloween Night, Prom, and etc. Apparently, I was asked to be in charge of the Room Layout Design and Operation, for Halloween Night, to make sure everything is being done. Oh JOY!

Yesterday, there was a party at a church member's home to celebrate the mooncake festival. Everyone talked, ate, drank, talked more, and ate more. Of course there were mooncakes too! I liked the pandan ones with the egg yolk in the middle but I LOVED the black forest mooncake that is Black in color and made of chocolate! hehehe!

The Paintball Event that I was talking about is open to anyone!

It's on the 11th of October.

RM 100 for 500 pellets,

RM 130 for 1000 pellets.

You could also pay a deposit of RM 20 first,

then pay the remainder after.

It is held in the Tanamera Paintball Park,

It's been awhile since the last time it happened.

He walked down the stairs in a slow pace,

while she was on her way up.

After seeing him pass by her,

she walked foward with a tiny smile,

and a light blush on her face.

She was a little confused with uncertainty,

but today her question was answered.

He is the cause of the fresh new heartbeats thumping,

wilder than normal, in her chest.

*What I've been up to*

So as usual,

I've just been busying with my school work/assignments.

Attending Student Coucil meetings.

Making posters for theme days, events, and etc.

*That's my job as a Publicity Officer.. =)*

I've just finished watching Season 1 of "Desparate Housewifes".

I am now almost halfway through Season 2,

while still continueing to watch "We Got Married".

Just finished episode 50.

*What can I say, I love my dramas...hahaha*

Other that those boring details,

I attended some other activities.

On the 07-09-09,

There was a swimming competition between Sun-U and Monash,

and I went to volunteer for about 6hrs of community service.

Najwa and Tram joined too.

After the competition me & Tram headed to her place for a swim!

Today, 11-09-09,

I went to this event called the "Job Shadow Day".

It is an event which allows selected students to follow a mentor,

mostly head manager of a department,

to experience a 3hrs+ of the field & job

of a certain industry/department of the Sunway Group.

About 90 to 100 students applied for it,

and I happen to be one of the lucky 40+ that got selected.

So today,

all the selected students gathered in the Sunway Club

before separating to different departments.

I got to experience the Banquet department

in the Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa!

Once again,

I was lucky to get the department that I wanted.

Besides me, there is another girl,
which was in the same group as me.

My mentor was a Banquet Manager.

He showed us lots of really cool, grand, and simply fabulous places in the resort!

I fell in LOVE with the resort!

It was like a dreamplace!

First, we saw another part of the hotel which most of us,

visitors and customers have never seen.

It was like the hotel's staff's offices which are like connected to the hotel,

yet never seen by non-staffs.

Then he showed us the different floors of special conference rooms, event rooms, and etc!

I also had a great opportunity to join them for their daily meetings which consists of discussions of the things that has happened, is happening, and is going to happen.

Basically like things yesterday, today, and tommorrow.

After that,

the mentor was so generous to allow us to help ourselves

to a 5-star tea break!

I had English tea with cream & Aussie honey,

this chicken on a stick thing,

a potato round thingy,

a crispy seafood roll,

and lastly the awesome, mouth-watering

Chocolate Crème Brûlée!!!

that just melts in your mouth!

While eating,

he also told us how he gets opportunities

to meet Prime Ministers, celebrities, and VIPs!

After our wonderful tea,

we walked around to see more rooms and the grand ballroom!!!

it was amaZAzing!

He also brought us to the M.O.S!

*Ministry of Sound, Euphoria*

I learned that it's a smoke-free club,

with a vibrating dance floor,

special separate rooms and VIP rooms!!!

How cool can it get?!?

After that our time was up,

so everyone from all the departments went back to the Sunway Club for lunch,

then each groups had a little presentation on what we have seen, learned, and experienced.

Then, lastly everyone took a group picture and went on our own ways.

It is an experience I would always remember!

After today,

I felt like I want to be a part of the hospitality industry.

- Typing at 1.08AM -

Light drops of rain beyond my window.

Felling a little chilly in my airconditioned room.

Cuddled up in a blanket & pillow,

with my dear teddy & puppy,

on the lower deck of my new double-story bed,

while little brother, Jeffrey, is sleeping peacefully above.

Waiting for drama to load.

Only hearing the soft drips from outside,

& my laptop's cooler humming loudly beside the silence.

Thinking about what to type.

A tiny, temperary reminder left on the flesh of my left arm,

from my first blood donation held in church today.

Got a little closer to my classmates today too,

as we spent a few hours planning our group skit for OB,

(Business Management)

& having a little fun in Summit,

with drinks, small chats, & shotting zombies in the arcade.

Finished watching "Shopaholic" movie.

Started watching "Desparate Housewives" since Friday,

borrowed them from the Sun-U library.

Mind isn't working very well.

Feeling slightly sleepy and tired,

probably from less blood in my system and late nights.

I wonder if my short break would be as usual.

I guess i have to go now.

Rest awaits.

You know how when a broken record is placed on a phonograph,

it just repeats itself over and over again?

I'm probably like a broken record nowadays,

just following and repeating the flow.

So most of my days are pretty much like repetitions.

My weekend started earlier this week,

the teachers of CIMP had some sort of event to attend,

so classes are off on Fridays,

along came homeworks and assignments to fill up the weekend.

brilliant...

hmm...

but it's not all so bad.

Went shopping for while in pyramid with my mom yesterday,

then went for youth fellowship today.

Today was a movie day so we gathered together,

and watched a movie called "Fireproof"

with sweet, caramelized, chewy popcorns in our mouths.

The time spent on that movie is worth it.

It stole some of my tears as well.

so far so good...

It's been three weeks in CIMP now,

and so far it's okae.

There's more free time,

and freedom,

*only in college*

but too many unfamiliar and new faces.

I hated the fact that eveyone has different schedules and lunch times,

it just makes it altogether harder to bond with other students.

Still have been hanging out mostly with the ex-SISians,

nothing wrong with that but just wants to make some new friends as well.

This week everything seems a little brighter,

and i wish it would continue to do so.

I had decided to run for Publicity Officer for the Student Council,

and as a result i got closer and supported by my new classmates and teachers.

The results just came yesterday,

and eventhough the other girl got the head and i got the vice,

i'm still very happy to just be one and even happier i had lots of supports.

I'm thankful for those who supported and voted for me,

and also those who wished me all the best

and supported me from the other side.

I'll try my best to make everything work out better.

That's it for now,

homeworks are starting to pile in so i got to start organizing my time better.

So after tha night of tha 'Undecided' , my dad and i discussed a lot and in tha end we both agreed on continueing with CIMP, along with some advice from my grandmama. In tha late morning, we went to college to pay for tha fees, look at some CIMP books, took a picture for my new student card, and so on.

So yea..

That's a short sum of what happened.

I feel relieved for many reasons.

I hope tommorow would be fun!

~*Yesterday,
i went to watch !!TrAnsfOrmErs!! with my 2nd little bro, Andrew.

It was FanTasTicO!

We went to Summit to watch it and tha line was a wait. While waiting in tha line my brother asked me something. Since tha screen with tha movie list shows that tha tickets are 'SELLING FAST', so he suddenly asked with a chuckle "Won't it be horrible if tha couple infront of us bought tha last tickets and when its our turn tha movie turns 'SOLD OUT'. I thought about it for a second and began to feel a little annoyed by that thought but i pushed that thought away, thought positively, and told him it won't happen. When it was our turn, we found out that there was only one last pair of seats. Me and my bro laughed victoriously after tha purchase. We were really lucky and we were so happy we didn't think about or feel bad for those behind us. LOL.

It was a fun, sister-brotherly quality day.

from my dad's side (she's tha one who taught me sewing), came and has been staying here since a few days ago. *i kinda forgot exactly when* She'll be staying until next Wed. She came cuz she had to see a good-old-dentist my mom recomended (he's not old..i just feel like using tha word..hee), and get two pairs of glasses.

i made a Cheesecake!!

Cuz my beloved-mommy's birthday is coming up on tha 9th July and we decided to do a little surprise and celebrate for her earlier (since grandma won't be here on tha 9th).

So i decided to make a chesecake which she thinks i'm making for fun because grandma is here. LOL. I made a painting for her as well for her prezzie.

A few days ago,

when we were watching tele about traveling in South Africa, my mommy saw a few of those South African paintings and she said "I should have bought some of those paintings when we went to South Africa tha last time. I really like it."

So that gave me an inspiration on what to give her for her birthday.

I went online to google at African Paintings. I looked at a few to get some inspiration and style of their painting cuz i never painted one before and didn't know how to. After that i started painting. I finished tha painting in about 4 days (of course not 4-whole-days..lol) cuz i messed up on my 1st round and had to redo tha whole thing. HAHAHA..was sort of annoyed when it got messed up.

Tonight,

after daddy-o has arrived home from work we'll surprise her!

I haven't been updating much on my summer so i guess i'll just give a short outline.

Here Goes~

9th:

Watched 2 movies in a row with my friends,

"Monsters Vs Aliens" & "17 again"

11th & 12th:

Went swimming at a friends place,

then clubbing at Helo Bali *for tha 1st time..lol*,
and slept over at friends place.

14th to 21st:

Went to Bintangor, Sarawak.
Stayed a week with my grandparents.

It was peaceful and nice.

I learned how to sew and knit from my grandma, even made a new pj for myself.

The after that and the rest was just a little of this and that.

Nothing much nor interesting.

This tragedy has effected poeple worldwide.

Today, every media I turned to is declaring his death and having a remembrance of him.

On tha Tele,

news channels are reporting on his death and fans mourning worldwide,

music channels are playing his music videos from tha earliest to tha most recent.

On tha Radio,

his songs can be heard in almost every station troughout the whole day.

On tha Internet,

YouTube has put him under tha Spotlight section on every homepage.

and So On...

I may not be a fan,

but I can't deny that he is A LEGEND.

He is Very Unique.

I witnessed a LOT of his works (songs, music videos, etc. ) today,

and once again unable to deny that it's great.

Did you NO that because of HIM, there's music videos today??

He was tha ONE that started it.

He also created tha well-known "moonwalk",

along with his style of dancing and clothing.

There's no doubt that he influenced tha music industry till today.

a new chapter coming to an end...

Today is a day to remember for me.

*This took me VERY long to write,

i kept editing & changing,

trying to express how i feel,

and i'm sorry if it seems messy or all over the place

because i wrote it with a heavy heart,

and ended it with droplets in my eyes.*

During the assembly,

I realized that time has passed so quickly,

so quick that when realization hit me,

I was caught off guard.

Almost a year has passed,

My time is almost up.

When we had our assembly,

the last one I'll ever have in SIS,

I had flashbacks of my 1st day.

I had all kinds of emotions that day,

excitement,

fear,

unfamiliar,

hope,

and etc.

I didn't no what experience I was about to have.

No Words can really describe it.

To me SIS has changed from a new school,

to my second home.

I fell unconditionally & uncautiously in love with SIS~

So today,

Mr. Boucher gave an awesome speech

that had me touched.

He was saying of how our life is like a book.

With different lengths and chapters in it.

He and 3 teachers are leaving school.

So there was an emotional moment for SIS.

The teachers also did a talent show today

and it was AWESOME!

All the teachers of SIS is really talented and cool.

I treasured every second of the assembly today.

There's much more of what i want to say about the assembly,

but if i continue i'm afraid it may bore you.

So after Mr. Boucher's speech ended,

I had a lot on my mind.

I realized that SIS has made a chapter in my book.

It was a short one year for me in SIS,

but it was precious.

I believed it is tattooed into a place in my heart

that i will always remember.

Unfortunately this chapter was about to end,

but i couldn't seem to let it go.

I'm still holding unto it,

fear of losing something that has became dear to me.

But in my heart i no that i will have to let it go soon,

so atleast let me hold tight unto it until it's time.

Tommorow is my last day of school in SIS,

and i dont no what to feel.

"Does it end tommorow??"

, i thought.

I don't know but i will find out soon.

No matter what,

I no that THIS chapter,

is coming to an end.

relationships...

The sermon today was on relationships,
but it was emphasized on
the importance of the relationship of the family.
It was really interesting!
The speaker ended the service with a story,
that really left me teary!
LOL


the story begins~

There was once a very good runner.

One day,
his ankle was hurt very badly
and so he couldn't run during a competition.
He told his coach that it's okay,
and he would rest so he can race
in the competition coming soon in Barcelona.

So the day finally came,
and he flew to Barcelona.
The stadium was filled,
the crowd was huge and excited,
seconds tick by and the race is about to begin.

The GUN SHOT was heard,
and so the race has begun!

But right after the gun shot,
when he was about to start the race,
he fell straight to the ground in pain.
The pain in his ankle was spreading,
and it hurts again,
but he stood up determinedly,
to finish the race
even though he noes at this pace
there wont be a medal for him.
He still wanted to finish the race
for his dad who is watching among the crowds.

With determination he goes forward!

In the crowd stood the runner's dad,
he saw how his precious son fell in pain.
He decided that he has to do something.
So what did dad do??
He RAN through the crowd,
pass the securities,
banging and pushing everything aside,
running as fast as he could to his son!

When he was finally by his son's side,
he said to his son.


"Let's finish this race together~!"

The moral of the story is that
we as a family should walk the race of life together
through the good and the bad.

mua with my mom, littls sis & bro,
went for lunch in the new Secret Recipe
in the new area near Giant & MyDin.

There i ate lasagna!!
deliciousness~

After lunch,
we went back home
and i had to force myself to do
the report for business.

In the mid-afternoon,
mua,
my mom,
and jeff,
*my 2nd younger bro*
went to pasar malam.
The one in sunway.
We bought lots of fruits,
vegetables,
and we also got some bubble teas and food~
GUESS wat!
the bubble tea there is ONLY RM 2. 80!!!
LOL

I'll just stop here.
Need to do work!!

Monday:

Fitness Test #3,
the rest of the day was boring.
We had practice in the MPH for performance night.



Tuesday:

Fitness Test #3 again,
my body was aching from monday's
and it hurts everytime i laugh.
Nothing much for that day.



Wednesday:

Fitness Test #3 [Finale],
body hurts even more,
but grateful that's the last of Fitness Test.
The rest of the schooling hours was dreadful...

PERFORMANCE NIGHT!
was totally awesome and a blast!

Thursday:

Debate for bm class.
another boring day.

ice-skating & golfing...

Last week on the 7th,
a thursday,
me and my phsyed buddies went ice-skating in Sunway Pyramid!
It was really FuN and CHalleNGiNG!!!
Because we went on a school day in the morning,
the ice-skating rink was almost empty.
So we had more space!
hahaha

Unfortunately it was way too short!

Right when i was about to get it,
almost reaching that "i can skate! i've got it!" feeling,
we had to go~

That next STEP is a few minutes late.

oh wellz~
Hopefully we can go skating again soon!
but i think i'll have to start all over again!
gaaah





Today,
we run/jog/walk to the driving range
,near South Quay,
*me and jazz were walking most of the time..shhhhh~!!*
and we GOLFed!

It was aWeSoMe!!
but ToO SuNNY!
hehehe

On the journey back,
me, jazz, and guano chewed & blowed our bubble gums back to SIS!
hahaha

almost finished with season 1

Dr. Greg House makes me feel like studying bio

being a doctor seem kinda interesting yet kinda eee

maybe i should take a bio course in CIMP

conclusion...

i'm right where i started

nature camp of 09...

teeheee~

wanna hear about the camp i went 3 days ago??

it was a ONE night camp on the Gunung Datuk

and it was a CRAZIEE yet AWESOME experience!!

let me start from the BEGINNING~

so on the 29th of april,

a wednesday,

all the PPL2O students gathered in the school at approx. 8AM

after everyone got ready

we went went on the bus

and had a 2hrs drive to the location

during this 2hrs drive i juz chatted and slept

when we reached

most of us went to the toilet

and enjoyed the last moment with a 'civilized toilet'

hehehe

we also sat down

and had our lunch

which is packed by the school canteen uncle

yummieeez~

after our lunch we began to HIKE UP UP UP!!

the hike up took around 3 to 4 hrs

and all i can say about it is

'unexpected, crazy & gaaah!'

during the hike up i seriously felt like i'm going no where

and my thoughts kept shouting

"are we there yet?!?"

during a rest at the hike up

i also came face to face with a REAL BUMBLE BEE!!

it was bigger than a lollipop

and i saw it's Yellow and Black Striped BUTT

it also Buzzez really LOUD!!

it was only an INCH near my face and knees!!!

and it circled me as if looking for something!!

during this incident

Jaz was right infront of me

and she was commanding in an urgent low soft voice

"Don't Move!! Don't MOVE Man!!"

repeating over and over again

and i was in shock so i juz did as she said

wondering if it would work

and it DID!

after a while of bee sniffin it went away

and we all sighed in relief

when we reach the campsite it was pretty crowded already

and most of the tents are set up

since our group (Jazmin, Kharenee, Stephanie & Mua)

was sort of the last to arrive

we got to set our tent at a higher place

there's an awesome view from our place

but it was kinda scary too

since it was near the edge

after setting up the tent

it was pretty much juz a free time for us all

we changed,

ate some snacks,

played card games,

cooked dinner,

eat dinner,

clean up,

and etc.

later in the evening,

we decided to see the sunset from the peak of the mountain.

me not knowing it was all the way to the peak,

changed my mind after i knew,

however Renee, Jaz & Steph encouraged and supported me to go

and so i DID!!!

i was sort of shivering inside all the way up

although i was VERY scared

i didn't regret going up

the view was juz simply BREATHTAKING~

it was a Gorgeous view with a Beautiful sunset

when it was time to climb down

the HORROR struck me

i shivered even more

and i almost teared

but with the help

and guidance of those awesome ppl

(go figure who)

i was able to make it down

however when i finally reach the safe ground

i couldnt hold in my tears anymore

my tears juz flowed,

i have no idea why since i'm on safe ground

but luckily no one really noticed since it was pretty dark already

hehehe

then came Steph, Renee and Jaz

they comforted me and i felt better

Thanks to them,

and those awesome ppl

i overcomed my fear of heights juz for that evening.

during the nearing night,

a bunch of us lay and sat on a huge flat rock

we chatted away while star gazing

it was memofunnytico~!!

every once in a while a bug or insect would come,

mostly onto Step

LOL

and Shaadhoon was espacially hyper that night,

running around in circles with a tiny flickering light clicked unto his shirt!

HAHAHAHAHA!!

at around 9 or 10PM

we were asked to tuck in and sleep

which is pretty early

so me groupie organized our stuff and tucked in

we couldnt fall asleep yet

so we chatted a little until we drifted to sleep

for me i can't sleep well at anywhere else other than in my bed at home

luckily i was so exhausted that i was able to sleep for a short while

but i woke up a few times due to the sounds of the weather

then at around 6AM

i woke up due to the chilling cold weather

and after that i couldnt sleep anymore and decided to go out

Steph also woke up at the same time

so we slowly sneaked out trying our best not to wake Renee & Jaz

but we sort of failed

hehehe

after that there's not much to say

we juz enjoyed the cold breeze,

ate,

brush our tooth,

packed up,

and WENT DOWN DOWN DOWN the mountain!!

when me, Guano & Jaz reach the bottom

we shouted in JOY JOY JOY!!

we were sort of the last ones to reach the butt of the mountain

juz to emphasis,

I absolutely HATE the UP and DOWN the Mountain Part!!!

the way up and down the mountain is really steep and unflat!

throughout the whole hike i've only seen a part with a '5 second short' flat ground!

anyway i'm gonna skip right back to 'reaching the school' part

the first thing i said was "flat ground!!"

HAHAHAHAHA

when we reached school EVERY camper was in a JOLLY mood

we were simply happy with seeing:

the flat ground,

sight of school,

aircond,

floors,

sink,

water,

and etc.

we were even happy seating on the floor in the resource room!!

later on we did a short camp reflection thingy

then we ALL went back to our LOVELY homes~

after this camp i appreciated everything i have more!!

in conclusion this camp has given me a new experience

and has thought me to appreciate what i have!

it was a very nature camp...

last week was PRETTY fantastico

til TWO Final Culminating Task was GIVEN on friday!!

and PROM is comin SOON

with soo MUCH to DO!!

plus PROM can't be confirmed

unless we get a certain number of people

to pay the FULL amount by END OF FRIDAY!!!

triple gaaaaahhh!!

hmm..oh ya!!

and i gotta choreograph a dance

and mix a song up for the kids at a church event!!

but that's not so GAAAHish

no rush for that

i guess that's all to gaaah about

my weekend is pretty boring

as usual

so i'm not gonna say anything bout it

hahahahaha

other then that...

OH YA!!
